This August, I achieved a milestone in my life. I raced in the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships in Omaha. I had a great race, made the podium for my age group and secured my spot to represent Team USA at the ITU World Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands in September, 2017.
It was something that I thought was impossible…or should I say improbable five years ago. It was the result of a lot of hard work, intentional training…did I say a lot of hard work??? And passion. It was also the result of a shift in my mindset. And this is the milestone event I am writing about....

Mont-Tremblant 70.3 Race Report - I’m really far behind in race reporting so I’m going to implement rapid fire races reports. They’ll be short and sweet: 10 things good, bad and/or ugly. A quick note on why I haven’t been writing… I felt my last few races have been far from stellar and I find it hard to write about disappointment. I don’t want to be a broken record and I needed some time to process. On top of that life outside of triathlon has been keeping me on my toes....
