Christina's a Hall of Famer!

The Brainerd Warriors Hall of Fame will induct five individuals at the April 24 all-sports banquet in the Brainerd High School gym.
Christina Roberts, Sarah (Houle) Oehrlein, Kurt King, Tom Lyscio and broadcaster Colin MacDonald will be inducted....

Christina Roberts
BHS class of 2004
Academics: National Honor Society, graduated sixth in her class, AP scholar with distinction, BHS scholar athlete
Swimming: Competed in 100 free, 200 free, 500 free and relays, 4-year letterwinner, school record holder in 200 free for 10 years, all-conference all 4 years, conference and section champion multiple events, 3-time state competitor (top 16 finisher senior year), scholar all-conference
Nordic skiing: 4-year letterwinner, 4-time all-conference, conference champion, scholar All-CLC, 4-time state competitor, all-state, all-state academic, 4-time team MVP, placed seventh at state meet as senior in pursuit
Track and field: Competed in 400, 800, 1600 and relays, 4-year letterwinner, former school record holder in 3 relays, all-conference, CLC scholar athlete, state competitor, all-state, academic all-state, winner of Borgwarth Award senior year for perseverance and dedication.
Additional honors: 2004 BHS Female Athlete of Year
College: Attended St. Olaf and majored in Spanish and math. Competed in swimming and outdoor track and field.
Swimming: Raced the 100 free, 200 free, 500 free, and relays, honorable mention NCAA Division III All-American, All-MIAC 4 times
Track and field: Raced the 1500, 800 and relays
After college athletics: Triathlons and cross country skiing, competes in running, duathlon and open water swim races.
Triathlon: Currently racing from sprint to one-half Ironman distances as an Elite Amateur Triathlete for the Gear West Bike and Triathlon race team. Currently holds 2 course records (in Olympic distance triathlon); 10 career multi-sport victories; top 3 overall female in 17 of 20 races in last 3 years; clocked fastest overall swim multiple times (male or female); clocked fastest female run split numerous times; placed ninth for Team USA at 2015 ITU Age Group World Championships for Olympic distance triathlon; ranked No. 3 on Team Minnesota for elite amateur triathletes in state.
Nordic skiing: Races in the elite wave for American Birkebeiner (North America's largest Nordic race) as well as the City of Lakes Loppet (largest ski race in Minneapolis); placed as high as 28th at the Birkebeiner in freestyle among more than 700 women.
Running: Currently racing for Gear West Ski and Run elite race team, competing from 5K distance to half marathons
Employment: Works as a catastrophe modeling analyst for Validus Reinsurance.
