2017 MINNESOTA MULTISPORT AWARDS - Narrowing this category to four nominees wasn't easy. As with the masters women, there was a lot of talent to choose from.
Narrowly missing nominations this year were CHRIS TATTON and BRETT LOVAAS, both of whom received ardent support from various committee members.
Here are the four official nominees:
- BROOKS GROSSINGER, 40, Mayer - 1st MOY Nomination
Highlights: Two overall wins. Three masters records.
- DAVID HOLDEN, 47, Hudson, WI - 4th MOY Nomination
Highlights: One overall win. Masters titles at Minneapolis, Heart of the Lakes and Chisago Half IM.
- MATTHEW PAYNE, 40, Golden Valley - 1st MOY nomination
Highlights: Three overall victories in four starts....

- 9th overall / 1st 50+ @ Heart of the Lakes
