2017 MINNESOTA MULTISPORT AWARDS - Yesterday we revealed the  women who earned MOST IMPROVED nominations, and the criteria by which they were selected. Today, we reveal the male nominees in this category.

- JOE ADRIEANS, 29, Elk River

Joe was an obvious choice. His improvement in the last year has been dramatic. Here are his 2017 highlights:

1st Premier Diviision / 4th including Collegians @ Maple Grove Olympic

3rd @ Chisago Lakes Half IM - 4:13:26 - PR (4:58 in 2016)

4th @ Gear West Duathlon

7th @ Heart of the Lakes (18th in 2016)

- NATHAN ANSBAUGH, 30, Minneapolis

Injuries resulting in insufficeint racing volume kept Dr. Nate off Team Minnesota in 2016. He'll not only make the team this year, he'll likely place near the top of the list. Here are Ansbaugh's 2017 highlights:

1st @ Lake Minnetonka

1st @ Lake Waconia  ...

2nd @ Liberty Half IM

3rd @ Minneapolis Triathlon

3rd @ Heart of the Lakes
