Hopkins Royal is 2018 "Race of the Year"...

2018 MINNESOTA MULTIPSORT HONORS - MTN congratulates the Hopkins Royal Triathlon, this year's top vote-getter, based on percentage of participation, for "TRIATHLETES CHOICE RACE OF THE YEAR."

A perennial nominee for the TCROY, Hopkins Royal also received this honor in 2015....

Here is the voter breakdown of the this year's five finalists:

1. HOPKINS ROYAL TRIATHLON 

Finishers - 350, Votes received - 91 - % of participants - 26.0% 

(TCROY winner in 2015)

2. TIMBERMAN TRIATHLON

Finishers - 371, Votes received - 76 - % of particpants - 20.4%

(TCROY winner in 2000 & 2001)

3. GREEN LAKE TRIATHLON

Finishers - 247, Votes received - 48 - % of particpants - 19.4%

4. SUPERIORMAN TRIATHLON

Finishers - 286, Votes received - 54 - % of particpants - 18.9%

(TCROY winner in 2016, 2014, 2013)

5. YWCA WOMEN'S TRIATHLON

Finishers - 1460, Votes received - 239 - % of particpants - 16.4%

(TCROY winner in 2017 & 2012)

Recipients of the other 2018 MInnesota Multisport Honors will be annpunced on MTN on  Monday.
