2020 MINNESOTA MULTISPORT HONORS - Here are the five women who comprise this year's TEAM MINNESOTA:
1. SHYANNE MCGREGOR, 36, Duluth -
Recipient of this year's AOY, MOY and MI honors, Shyanne was the clear choice to captain the women's Team....
2. DIANE HANKEE, 43, Lake Elmo -
As slam-dunkish as McGregor earning the Top Spot was Diane's placing 2nd. A perennial Team Minnesota member, Diane was the 2020 Master of the Year.
3. ANNA RAINER, 26, Minneapolis -
From off the radar to number three on the Team, Anna's rise has been meteoric. She was nominated for AOY and MI.
4. KRISTINA SWENSON, 23, Rogers -
A woman who has truly paid her dues. A member of the MMH Committee, Kristina refused to advocate for herself for honors and Team MInnesota inclusion.
The other members of the Committee, however, agreed that she was truly worthy.
5. MACY IYER, 16, Edina -
Macy is only the second junior girl to earn a spot on the Team. The first was BETH ZIRBES, who claimed a spot in 2005.
The 2020 JOY, Macy beat out BETTE ROWLEY and SIMONE LUNDQUIST for the 5th-and-final spot.
