Race Coverage - It's fun to
MEN: 1. JAN FRODENO (GER), 2. IVAN VASSILIEV (RUS), 3. HUNTER KEMPER (USA)
As you can see, the MTN Guys got one out of three right, for which we are stoked. FYI, here's how our picks fared: Ospaly placed 14th and Reed finished 10th.
Our women's podium picks:
1. LISA NORDEN (SWE), 2. EMMA MOFFATT (AUS), 3. ANNE HAUG (GER)
FINAL RESULTS: 1. ALECIA KAYE (USA), 2.NICKY SAMUELS (NZL), 3. EMMA MOFFATT (AUS)
Once again, we were happy that one of our selections podiumed. Here's how our other picks fared: Lisa Norden DNFed and Anne Haug placed 9th.
Our Elite Amateur Predictions: MEN - 1. JACOB RHYNER (WI/FL), 2. ADAM WEBBER (PA), 3. VINNIE MONSEAU (FL)...We correctly picked the Top 2 Guys, but so did everybody. They were the clear faves coming into the race. Vinnie's spot went to Randy Arriola of Albuquerque, NM. We'd never heard of him. Vinnie finished 16th.
ELITE AMATEUR WOMEN - 1. KAILAND COSGROVE (FL), 2. LINDA ROBB (FL), 3. CLAIRE BOOTSMA (MN). We picked Cosgrove to win, but Robb was a DNS.
How did the Minnesotan's do im St. Petersburg, Florida last Sunday?
