Iron Girl Stuff...

IRON GIRL - BLOOMINGTON - The ninth annual Iron Girl Duathlon was staged on Sunday. Here's some stuff about the Top 10 (of 716 finishers) and non-open-class AG winners:

1. Jenn Scudiero - 1:27:04   (Jenn's time was 4:38 faster than her winning time here in 2012. IG was her sixth du victory of the season.)                  

2. Joyce Bourassa, 46  - 1:32:00 (The 2002 Minnesota Rookie of the Year was also 2nd here in 2012. She was 3:13 faster on Sunday.)

3. Julie Henrickson - 1:34:57  (Julie was 8th here in 2012. She was 4:06 faster this time. According to her FB page, she likes Bud Light and Stouffer's Frozen Food. There's a great photo of her on page 2.)            

4. Lindsey Marshall - 1:35:29 (Lindsey won Croixathlon a whole bunch of times.)              

5. Kristin Weinzierl  - 1:35:41  (Kristin's FB "Likes" include Gerber baby food and Fishing With Matt.) ....         

6. Jennifer Fitzharris-Funk  - 1:36:37   (Jennifer placed 5th here last year, but was faster this time around. Jennifer has seriously great taste in music.)   

7. Amy Dettmer - 1:37:13  (Amy finished 4th here in 2012. She lives in Grand Rapids in the same house with her husband.)              

8. Katie Jackson - 1:37:15  (Katie is from Illinois. She has probably been to Chicago.)               

9. Kirsten Beltz  - 1:37:52  (Kirsten won the Paul Bunyan Triathlon and rocked a 9th at the Apple Duathlon Worlds Qualifier.               

10. Kelly Tamm - 1:37:52   (Kelly likes dogs and that kind of therapeuric massage that includes the placement of hot, flat stones on your back. Photo above L)
