The Fat Tire Tri returned on Sunday, Aug. 21 in Seeley,WI (10mi N of Hayward).  Participants rolled their way through state and county forests in pristine conditions with a finish at the local lumber yard. 

 

As if the picturesque lake surrounded with Seeley pines and calm, spring-fed water weren’t enough to showcase this gem of a swim venue, swimmers were treated to a visit by the resident loon on Silverthorn Lake.   

This forest themed event concluded with custom log awards on the outdoor timber stage at the local Sawmill Saloon.  Enthusiasm ran high among previous participants and newcomers.
