"Second Time's a Charm"....

The second time’s a charm.

An additional installment was necessary, in order to execute TRI-HARD-TRI ’20. On July 26, what would result in Part 1 of the Sprint Distance Tri on the Maple Grove course- four athletes(Daniel Duff 3rd overall, Diane Samson 3rd lady overall, Heather Moody, and Laura Hanneman) waited out the early morning rain to post Pt 1 results on the HOT and humid course....

While several initial registrants were unable to attend the reboot (pt 2), the showing on Sunday was well worthwhile; including seven (Count Them!) SEVEN freshly minted, new triathletes which we are elated to welcome the multi-sport family!

One of those first timers Nabil (Na-beel’) Pruscini, last across the line, had the last laugh, winning the Grand Prize drawing *Rudy Project KEYBLADE Platinum/ImpactX Photochromic Clr-Lsr Red lens eyewear > Generously donated by Team Tri-Hard and Rudy Project NA. Upon unpacking his prize, Nabil exclaimed, “I’m from ITALY!” [RUDY World HQ]
This was meant to be.

Sara and Jeremy Rondorf had a battle royale on the bike leg as they opposed each other on the only two relay teams registered. I’m not going to spill the beans on who bettered whom. You’ll have to check the results *posting soon* for yourself at www.sk8hard.net/trihardtri.html

Every athlete received a T-H-T Finisher Dog Tag for their effort, as well as additional Swag donated by HED, RUDY, and TRI-HARD.

The mission of the TRI-HARD-TRIATHLON is to provide a relaxed atmosphere for racing, race practice, race prep, and training for all. We hope the usual suite of multi-sport event options return to normal asap. Regardless, planning for THT ’21 is underway.
