Becky Youngberg won a second title in two days, and Devon Palmer won his first of the season Sunday morning in the 25th Brewhouse Triathlon at the Pike Lake Auto Club Golf Course. ...
Youngberg, 37, from Eden Prairie, Minn., led the women in the long-course race in 1 hour, 52 minutes, 55 seconds for an .8-mile swim, 20.6-mile bike and five-mile run. Just a day earlier, she was first in the inaugural Graniteman Big Lake (Minn.) Triathlon.
Palmer, 24, a second-year professional from St. Paul, topped a record field of 744 entrants in 1:37:36 after placing second a year ago in almost an identical time. He became the only male winner other than Brian Bich or David Thompson in the past decade.
