Life Time South Beach Triathlon - MTN congratulates Burnsville's Dan Arlandson and Duluth's Jess Rossing, both of whom rocked Top 5 performances last Sunday at the Life Time South Beach Triathlon in Miami.

South Beach is a totally cool place. Have you every been there? Thong city. Bare butts everywhere.

We digress.

Arlandson's 4th place finish against a very deep men's field was dependenat on his awesome bike split (59:45), the second fastest amateur ride of the day. Rossing's 5th place effort was secured by a terrific run split (40:23), the fastest of all female amateurs. Jess placed 4th here in 2013.

A glance at the times and splits suggests that conditions were not favorable. A glance at weather.com tells us that the day was warm (82 degrees) and windy.

The South Beach Triathlon kicked off this year's 12-race Life Time Tri Series. Next stop on the circuit is the Life Time Matquee Triathlon in Tempe, Arizona on April 13. - LT South Beach RESULTS
