2012 Minnesota Multisport Awards - We had intended to post the potential Performance of the Year nominations next week, but since the Hy-Vee 5150 Championships three weeks back, followed by Ironman Wisconsin and Leadman Epic 250 - Bend, OR, Minnesotans are buzzing, and rightfully so, about Dan's HUMONGOUS win in Des Moines, Michelle's GARGANTUAN win in Madison, and Cathy's BEHEMOTH win in the Pacific Northwest.
So, let's talk Performance of the Year. In that there are two girls' names in the last sentence, let's do them first. (That sentence didn't finish well, did it?)
So you know, the MMA Selection Committee will be discussing whether a single athlete can have more than two nominations in this category. For our purposes here, we'll list only 2-3 Ps per person. This way we won't have to post every race that Ruth Brennan Morrey did this season....

Last February I won the golden ticket. Thee golden ticket. The ticket so coveted that in the past one woman actually showed up at the race posing as a chosen participant.
