Do you have any idea how much good work Team In Training is doing---right here in Minnesota? We didn't. So we were happily surprised and wanted to share some information with you.
For instance, last year alone the Leukemia & Lymphome Society awarded $2.9 million for five separate research grants at Mayo Clinic and University of Minnesota. The Team in Training partnership with Life Time Minneapolis Triathlon has raised over $973,000 since 2008 and they fully expect to break the $1 million mark this year...

Let me start off by saying that the people who populated the northern inland regions of the world are tough as a box of nails. I had a very concrete realization of this fact after Claire and I’s winter yurt adventure in the Porcupine Mountains last weekend. We drove up to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula last Thursday with two backpacks full of clothes and food and spent two nights in two yurts. (A yurt is a soft-sided circular shelter) The trip was an absolute blast and incredibly gorgeous and like all our wilderness adventures pretty exhausting. ED. Tri stud Dan Arlandson was reading the Wall Street Journal online on Monday and was pleasantly surprised when he saw this article. By the way, in Russian, Sochi is spelled "C-O-4-backward N." How cool is that! It's a Cyrillic deal.
