Have you ever thought of your body as a map? I have.
I would be lying if I said I didn’t want to be aesthetically pleasing; it’s hard not to.
But that’s being realistic in a world that can change your “map” .....let’s think about that.
The picture on the left shows a proud woman who has just completed 3 marathons and two 70.3 triathlons. I’m feeling fit; I’m happy.
The picture on the right is during a race a few years later. I will take 3rd overall and 1st on the bike....

2020 MINNESOTA MULTISPORT HONORS - Today we reveal the men who comprise TEAM MINNESOTA 2020. Due to the COVID-abbreviated season and the fact that several regional elites opted not to race this year, the Teams consist of five athletes each, not ten as in prior seasons.
1. TED TREISE, 26, Minneapolis
2. JOSH MORK, 37, Lino Lakes
The battle for the top spot was tight. With a 2-0 record, Ted was the only athlete, male or female, who was undefeated in two-or-more Minnesota races this year. Josh raced three times, posting a win at Big Lake and two 2nds (Clearwater and Square Lake). The Committee loved the fact that Mork raced three times, and that his 2nds were behind stars Treise and David Thompson. Still, Ted, the AOY recipient, outraced Josh in their head-to-head confrontation, giving him the slight edge here.
Mork has been ranked #2 on Team Minnesota the last two years....

2020 MINNESOTA MULTISPORT HONORS - The battles for male and female ATHLETE OF THE YEAR came down to mano a mano, which is not actually gender specific, duels between TED TREISE and JOSH MORK, and DIANE HANKEE and SHYANNE MCGREGOR.
Let's break it down:
Ted won both of the local races he entered. At Green Lake Olympic he outraced runner-up / 6-time Minnesota Master of the Year (including 2020) KEVIN O'CONNOR by 2:23, after which he won at Graniteman Clearwater, the deepest men's race of the season, relegating Mork to 2nd place, 1:10 in arrears....
