We're confused. Midnight. Is it the last second of today or the first second of tomorrow? Will Race of the Year voting end at midnight tonight? Or midnight tomorrow morning? Whichever is correct, you need to know that if you haven't voted yet, you must do so before that ambiguous moment that is either today's (October 31) last second, or tomorrow's first one (November 1).
As of this morning, MTN's voting page has received more than 2700 hits. Forty-one of our state's 70 adult, outdoor multis have received votes. Not every visitor has voted and some have done so two or three times (only one will count). If you're not part of this record turnout, you have until the end of the day to participate....

Isn't this a totally cool photo? It is a euphoric Cathy Yndestad gliding smoothly and briskly along the Kona coastline in a brand-spanking-new pair of K-Swiss Keahou (pronounced "Kay-ah-Hoe") trainers. Endorphins are coursing through her flabless physiology, her hair is streaming like a flag in a hurricane and she smiles uncontrollably.
She had not intended to run this fast. And she feels like she can run forever.
Quoting former middle-distance Aussie superstar Herb Elliot, Cathy "is full of running."
There's nothing like a great run, is there?....
